INNOCUOUSLY EGREGIOUS
saintly sinners

Hairline cracks—often barely noticeable—are susceptible to destructive forces. These minute fissures serve as ideal entry points for water seepage, creating a dark, damp environment conducive to the proliferation of mould spores. The damage may not be immediately apparent, as it often appears harmless. However, if left unchecked, the relentless presence of this parasitic intruder compromises structural strength. As mould embeds itself in porous materials, it spreads rapidly, complicating eradication. To effectively remove mould, you must tackle the root issues—recognise the initial signs of a musty odour, pinpoint affected areas, and repair any susceptible components.
In a similar vein, the overly kind and refreshingly sensitive white knight on a horse infiltrates your life during your most vulnerable period—hijacking, isolating, confusing, and causing great upheaval in your life. Your instinctive doubts regarding their identity and strange behaviours will lead to gaslighting and labelling. A sick mind will imitate your behaviour, appropriate your thoughts, rummage through your personal documents, hack your accounts, forge your signature, destroy your files and personal property, stalk you, replicate your voice on phone calls, and even engage in intimate relations with your friend/partner—all while maintaining a facade of innocence.
The eventual revelation—the undeniable “proof” in the pudding—will lay bare the unpalatable truth: the self-styled sexless, sanitised saint is, in reality, an evil person. This confirmation presents the saint as a shame-ridden, incestuous infant ageing in a raging adult body—living a duplicitous existence as a compulsive sex addict, and sexually depraved predator with a well-concealed history of crimes.
The egregious, much like seemingly harmless water, often present a “non-threatening” facade—they range from the person who can’t hurt a fly to the most altruistic woman and the most humble man. Their meticulously crafted personas, designed to impersonate their victims and mimic their traits, are the result of careful observation and rehearsal. These personas are rooted in characteristics such as helpfulness, sincerity, and a sense of martyrdom and victimhood (The more pitiable a beggar, the greater the profit.). This saintly image, paired with others’ ignorance and helplessness, enables the egregious to operate with impunity and carry out their nefarious acts in plain sight.
Remain vigilant: much like water, the archetype of the virgin victim, knight, or martyr is ever-present—stalking their victim.
